Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK) educates internationally oriented and highly skilled engineers, business professionals, nurses, public health nurses, and social services professionals. Our working-life-oriented studies and the vibrant Vaasa region provide excellent employment opportunities for our graduates.

VAMK has approximately 4,000 students and 200 staff members. Our education focuses on energy-efficient technology, business expertise for export industries, and modern health and social services.

We work in close cooperation with higher education institutions and companies in the region, as well as with the Vaasa region’s energy technology cluster, the most significant of its kind in the Nordic countries.
