Vaasa University of Applied Sciences builds expertise that helps find solutions to societal challenges on the path toward a wellbeing economy.
At the core of our expertise are themes such as the energy transition, smart digitalisation, clean transition, international business competence and logistics, design thinking, and solutions to the transformation of wellbeing.
We have a long tradition in research and development work as well as in project partnerships. Our operations are grounded in multidisciplinary expertise and a deep understanding of the local business environment. We are strongly committed to sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration through concrete projects.
VAMK educates experts in technology, business economics, and health care and social services sectors. We provide high level work-life oriented education in Finnish and in English, both at Bachelor and Master level, to both full-time and pat-time students. We work in close collaboration with local universities and the regional energy technology cluster, which is the most significant in the Nordic countries.
